es war ein würdevoller Abschied. Wir hoffen dir hätte es gefallen.

Dr. Juergen Uhl is my personal inspiration. As a 19 year old he and Maria “Mutti” took me in as an exchange student. I had wanted to become a veterinarian since I was 5 years old and luckily A.F.S. was able to match us up. Instantly I was accepted and treat like family. Dr Uhl took me under his wing and shared everything with me. He inspired me so many ways...to study hard, get into vet school, marry the love of my life, enjoy the outdoors, raise my children to be good productive people, and appreciate travel. It came as a great surprise to hear of Papa’s passing. Perhaps, as fate would have it, on the very day that I sold my business, I would learn that Papa had gone to be with our lord. I love you Papa Uhl, and of all your sayings, the one I am most proud of is when you showed my son Nathan around Reinheim and after a few pints and shots declared “You are your father’s son!” I sure hope someone in heaven slaps you on the back and points down at me and tells you “He sure is his German father’s son!”
